The media are not toys… they can be entrusted only to new artists, because they are art forms.
(McLuhan, 1954)

Self-taught in my 3D practice,
I use projects to allow me to experiment and learn various sub-fields.
I chose this approach to enrich my technical knowledge using Blender software,
while developing my creative practice.

My journey began by exploring composition and textures with "Astronaut",
then rendering and lighting techniques with "Miata",
camera movement and mesh manipulation with "Versaille",
followed by sculpture based on Bézier curves with "Lys d'un jour".
"Gummy Statue" opened the door to experimentation
with scanning and animation, while "Pieds moches" introduced me to modelling.

With each project, I incorporate the knowledge
I've gained from previous projects, allowing me to master
the different parameters over time.
It's essential for me to familiarise myself in this way so that I never stop producing.

Versailles

Versailles is a video I made in March 2022 as part of my DN_MADe Graphisme course. The assignment was to transcribe a page from the magazine "Ça m'intéresse". After analysing the request and carrying out a market study, I explored different avenues such as flat design in motion, watercolour in stop-motion and finally 3D production. It was this last idea that I chose to develop.

Lys d’un jour

Lys d’un jour is a series of posters I made in August 2023. During a walk, I came across this flower, in perfect bloom. I wanted to capture this fleeting moment by scanning it.

Astronaut

Personal creation on Blender and Photoshop, of a print in collaboration with Domenico D'Alisa. He modelled the astronaut entirely. After setting the astronaut in motion, I created the textures and environment. After various colour tests, this rendering was obvious. I continued my research in Photoshop. These posters gave me the opportunity to explore Blender. This first approach enabled me to develop my general knowledge, as well as my knowledge of textures and lighting.

Nano-particules

This project was carried out in collaboration with the DSAA Illustration Scientifique students from the Estienne school. We were asked to immerse ourselves in the work of one of a select group of scientists, and to represent her work in a poster to be used in a conference. I worked on Hynd Remita, a researcher in the field of nanoparticles and mainly Tio2.

Frach Type

Typographic reflection in a school setting through the "Mauvais Caractère" application. From the production of a paper and digital specimen, to the reflection on the principle and creation of the typeface in question, and the drawing of the typeface, to the animated 3D production.

Gummy

The statue shows an elegant, idealised female figure, stripped naked, emerging from a sculptural form evoking clouds or volutes. Aurora is an allegorical representation of dawn, often personified in Greek and Roman mythology as a goddess bringing the light of day. The statue captures the ethereal moment of sunrise, symbolising renewal, rebirth and the start of a new day.

Hervé à la flemme

As part of the Plastic Practices and Mediation course, we have been asked to design an experimental role-playing game that can be played collectively or individually, with or without a game master. It is necessary to develop a lore that involves visual, digital, interactive and visual or non-visual elements, all by imagining an innovative and singular game that uses innovative techniques. Lynn, Eloise, Titouan and I have conceptualised a game, Hervé, using a physical puppet and AR.
