This project was carried out in collaboration with the DSAA Illustration Scientifique students from the Estienne school. We were asked to immerse ourselves in the work of one of a select group of scientists, and to represent her work in a poster to be used in a conference. I worked on Hynd Remita, a researcher in the field of nanoparticles and mainly Tio2.
Meet the researcher and explore the laboratory. We were able to discuss the research topic and understand the working context. We looked at graphic shapes and textures, which could give us a richer understanding of the subject.
I did a thorough job of re-presenting the Tio2 nano-particles, based on photos taken under the microscope and on the way the researcher described them to us. It was important for me to capture the codes that would enable the public to clearly identify the object.
